Salzkotten, Germany – October 13, 2026. Trimble™ has launched TrueTracker™ , its next-generation active implement guidance system. TrueTracker keeps both mounted and trailed implements on the same repeatable track as the tractor, helping farmers precisely position implements even under varying terrain and field conditions, as well as in crops or operations with particularly high precision requirements. Automatic guidance can keep the tractor precisely on track, helping to avoid gaps and overlaps. The exact position of the implement behind is also crucial for maximum precision. Stepped terrain, slopes, and uneven ground can cause even relatively small implements, whether mounted or trailed, to deviate from their intended path. This can result in incorrect connections, inefficient fieldwork, and potential damage to valuable crops. „Precise guidance doesn’t end at the tractor. If the implementation deviates from the track on slopes or uneven terrain, the precision achieved at the tractor can quickly be lost where the actual work takes place,“ says Damien Delpérié, Strategic Marketing Professional EMEA at PTx. „TrueTracker allows the implementation to correct its position independently. This enables farmers to stay on the intended track on every pass and simultaneously get more precision out of the equipment they already use.“ TrueTracker is based on Autopilot™technology with 3-axis terrain compensation and has its own GNSS receiver. The system actively corrects the implement’s position independently of the tractor. This enables centimeter-level accuracy for both the tractor and the implement – ​​even in challenging terrain. Key features of TrueTracker Centimeter-level accuracy: Enables centimeter-level accuracy for tractor and implement tracking in varying terrain conditions. One display, one system: Tractor and implement tracking can be controlled via a single GFX display in conjunction with the NAV-960™ guidance controller. No additional display is required. Independent calibration: Fine adjustments allow the implementation to be calibrated separately from the tractor, giving operators greater control over implement positioning. Precise even in reverse: TrueTracker enables precise positioning in both forward and reverse, making it suitable for large implementations such as potato planters and harvesters. All guidance patterns: Straight, curved, and FreeForm guide lines can be precisely maintained, even on slopes and uneven terrain. This helps minimize row separation. Independent steering of tractor and implement: The implement is steered like a second vehicle and corrects its position independently of the tractor for repeatable positioning. The TrueTracker tractor and implement guidance system is controlled via the Precision IQ™ operating system with a GFX display in conjunction with the NAV-960™ guidance controller. The NAV-960 system can access all major GNSS constellations and utilizes Trimble® IonoGuard™ technology to maintain high positioning accuracy and availability even in ionospheric interference. The system can be used with implements that already have integrated steering as well as those equipped with a retrofitted steering solution. This allows farmers to upgrade existing machines with active implement steering and make more comprehensive use of the technology already in their fleet. TrueTracker is part of PTx Trimble’s broader portfolio of precision solutions for retrofitting existing machinery. These solutions help farmers better utilize the potential of their existing equipment without having to make major investments in new machinery. With the official market launch of TrueTracker, farmers can actively steer the implement and maintain its precise positioning even in field conditions where it cannot reliably follow the tractor’s track.
